Our Story

Who We Are

GiveTime started with a simple problem: finding the right volunteer opportunity shouldn't be this hard. Search results were misleading, organizations were often difficult to find, and there was no single place to see what was actually available in the community.

So, a student at Novi High School built the solution. GiveTime is a volunteer database that cuts through the noise and gives you honest, organized information about where and how you can help. It gives users a quick and easy way to find the perfect organization that fits their wants and needs.

What started as a local project now serves the Southeast Michigan area and continues to grow. GiveTime is currently expanding into additional regions and plans to feature hundreds of new organizations across different causes and communities.

Congressional App Challenge Winner

GiveTime was selected as the winning app for Michigan's 6th Congressional District in the 2024 Congressional App Challenge, hosted by Rep. Debbie Dingell.

Creator of GiveTime · Novi High School

A student with a deep passion for coding, mathematics, and community service. With hundreds of hours of community service and vast experience in software development, Aarush created GiveTime to make it easier for anyone to find volunteer opportunities that actually match their interests.
